We are now recruiting for the role of Senior Supply Chain Manager – Enterprise Strategy to join our Supply Chain Directorate. This is a strategic leadership opportunity to shape the future of our enterprise-wide supply chain design and delivery model for one of the most ambitious engineering programmes in the UK.

 

The Role

As Senior Supply Chain Manager – Enterprise Strategy, you will lead the development, deployment, and integration of supply chain strategies that support the delivery of modular nuclear power stations. You’ll provide a clear strategic framework that aligns with business goals, client requirements, and regulatory standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and communicating holistic supply chain strategies across the enterprise
  • Leading cross-functional teams to ensure strategic alignment and execution
  • Developing adaptable frameworks to meet diverse client and programme needs
  • Providing strategic sourcing recommendations and managing large-scale spend decisions
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure buy-in and delivery
  • Acting as a subject matter expert in supply chain strategy, governance, and transformation
  • Driving continuous improvement and innovation across supply chain operations
  • Managing and mentoring a team of up to four direct reports, with scope to grow

 

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Proven experience in strategic supply chain development within complex, regulated industries
  • Strong delivery background in procurement, logistics, and cross-functional programme support
  • Experience managing suppliers and partners in sectors such as nuclear, aerospace, construction, or energy
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and represent the business externally
  • Strong commercial acumen and global outlook
  • Excellent planning, reporting, and project management skills
  • A degree or equivalent qualification (engineering or MCIPS preferred)

Pay and benefits

 

We anticipate paying a salary of between £68,000 - £89,000 DOE plus:- 

  • Bonus - Performance related target opportunity 17%  
  • Benefits Allowance – £5,000 per annum, enabling you to create a bespoke package   
  • Pension - 12% employer and 6% employee contributions. 
  • Holidays - 28 days holiday (+ public holidays) and the ability to buy or sell up to 4 days.   
  • Private Medical Insurance - BUPA single cover health care   
  • Life Assurance - 6x pensionable pay  
  • £250 - One-off payment for new starters for home office purchases
