We anticipate paying a salary from £62,000 - £81,500 DOE

We are now recruiting for a Reward Lead - Compensation & Analytics (FTC), to be involved in a game changing role as we strive to make the nuclear industry more diverse.

Role Purpose
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Compensation & Analytics professional to be a subject matter expert (SME) in the delivery and operation of the company’s compensation and analytics practices.
This role will be pivotal in ensuring the company’s compensation structures are competitive, equitable, and aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate will be proficient in job evaluation and role sizing—preferably certified in Willis Towers Watson’s Global Grading System (GGS)—and have hands-on experience with Workday compensation modules.
Key responsibilities
Job Evaluation & Role Sizing
- Manage job evaluation processes using Willis Towers Watson’s methodology, including the Global Grading System (GGS).
- Maintain the integrity and consistency of job architecture, job levelling, and grading across the organization.
Compensation Benchmarking & Analysis
- Conduct and analyze salary benchmarking using external market data to inform compensation decisions and pay structure designs.
- Evaluate and propose competitive compensation packages (base salary, incentives, allowances, and benefits) aligned with internal equity and external competitiveness.
Advisory Support & Stakeholder Partnership
- Partner closely with HR Business Partners (HRBPs), Talent Acquisition Partners (TAPs), and Line Managers to provide expert advice and guidance on compensation decisions, internal equity, and market alignment.
- Support compensation elements of the recruitment process including offer design and negotiations.
Compensation System Management (Workday)
- Serve as the compensation subject matter expert on Workday HCM, including system configuration, annual compensation planning cycles, and process enhancements.
- Collaborate with HRIS and IT to maintain, test, and improve Workday compensation-related modules and data integrity.
Data & Reporting
- Provide regular and ad-hoc compensation analytics and dashboards to support decision-making.
- Monitor internal pay trends, identify risks or gaps, and make data-driven recommendations to mitigate them.
Projects
- Lead or support cyclical activity, such as ‘Annual reward Review’ or ‘Incentive’ plan launch or payment.
- Lead or Support ad-hoc project work within the HR function or across the business.
What we are looking for
- Relevant experience in total reward and analytics delivery, preferably within a complex organization.
- Hands-on experience with Workday Compensation module, including configuration and reporting.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and HR analytics tools.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders both vertically across functions.
- Strong understanding of labor market trends, compensation practices, employee relations and regulatory compliance.
Beneficial Experience, Training or/and qualifications
- Preferably a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field or equivalent demonstrable experience.
- Certification in Willis Towers Watson’s Global Grading System (or equivalent methodology) is highly desirable.
- HCM Workday experience for Compensation and Reward Modules (beneficial)

Pay and Benefits
• Salary - £62,000 - £81,500
• A performance related bonus of up to 12.5%,
• An attractive pension scheme with 12% employer and 6% employee contributions.
• You will also receive a flexible benefits allowance of £2,200, enabling you to create a bespoke package to suit your needs.
