We are now recruiting for the exciting role of Continuous Improvement Manager, to be involved in developing a global supply chain and creating opportunities for the wider industry.


Role Purpose

The Continuous Improvement Manager is responsible for leading and driving process improvement initiatives across the organisation. Analysing current processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement and ensure sustainable growth. Reviewing the supply chain needs, whilst leading a team that can clearly deliver the requirements and values of the business.


Key Responsibilities

  • Leading continuous improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • Analysing current processes, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvement strategies
  • Developing and implementing process improvement plans, including lean methodologies and Six Sigma practices
  • Monitoring and measuring the effectiveness of implemented improvements and adjust strategies as needed
  • Facilitating workshops and training sessions to educate employees on continuous improvement principles


We are looking for

  • Demonstrable experience in managing the implementation of a continuous improvement function and framework within the supply chain or operational function 
  • Extensive knowledge of the end-to-end process of the continuous improvement lifecycle, including KPI’s and regular reviews within the global supply chain
  • Ability to assess data and identify trends and projects that would lead to our biggest improvements through a hopper system
  • Understanding of governance and regulatory requirements that underpin the continuous improvement processes  
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge of key supply chain processes and integration of requirements with external parties and internal operations 
  • Experience in developing key data sets and using for prioritisation of project work in the support and execution of the planning and delivery
  • Experience in supporting delivery of significant projects with cross functional stakeholders and multiple reporting lines 
  • Nuclear industry would be an advantage

Pay and benefits

We anticipate paying a salary of between £57,600 - £75,600  DOE plus:- 

  • Bonus - Performance related target opportunity 12.5%  
  • Benefits Allowance – £2,200 per annum, enabling you to create a bespoke package   
  • Pension - 12% employer and 6% employee contributions. 
  • Holidays - 28 days holiday (+ public holidays) and the ability to buy or sell up to 4 days.   
  • Private Medical Insurance - BUPA single cover health care   
  • Life Assurance - 6x pensionable pay  
  • £250 - One-off payment for new starters for home office purchases

Our Application Process

Due to the safety regulations within the nuclear industry, applicants will be required to participate in additional screening. These are:

Obtaining Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance

Satisfactory completion of a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check

Satisfactory completion of a basic financial probity check
